Exact positions matter

Every answer cell is checked independently against the answer in the same position. Incorrect, missing, blank or misplaced answers earn zero. Answers are never shifted or realigned. Correct answers do not cancel errors elsewhere.

40% row threshold

Rows are scored separately. A row earns its correct-answer points only if at least 40% of the cells are correct. Exactly 40% qualifies. Otherwise the whole row earns zero. A complete Numbers row has 40 digits: at least 16 must be correct.

Unfinished final row

For the final Numbers row, use the number of digits actually written as the denominator. With five written digits, two correct digits qualify. With three written digits, one correct digit does not qualify. Trailing blanks are excluded.

Additional website practice rules

These fill gaps in the rulebook and apply to website practice: each correct answer earns 1 mark. Numbers has 200 digits in rows of 40; Words and Images each have 50 items in rows of 10. The unfinished-row rule also applies to Words and Images; only written answers count in that final row. Earlier rows retain the full-row denominator.

Uzbek words are chosen randomly from the practice word bank. Case, surrounding spaces and common Uzbek apostrophe variants are ignored; spelling and position must match. Images are randomly selected emoji pictures. Repeated words and images are allowed. Images are recalled by choosing the same picture.

Students must work without notes, screenshots or help. Memorisation lasts the full five minutes; recall ends automatically. The server calculates all scores. Scores submitted after the deadline are rejected, apart from a 15-second network allowance. These are practice rankings, not proctored competition results.

Ranking total = personal best Numbers + personal best Words + personal best Images. All grades appear in the overall ranking; the leaderboard can be filtered by grade, region or district. Equal totals share a rank, with the next place skipped. Students with no completed tests are unranked.

Offline competition registration is separate from account creation. Offline results never enter website rankings. The organiser will announce the offline date, venue and any additional event procedures.
